Community Rules & Terms
Updated 29 October 2026
Plots is for recording and discussing books and movies. These rules cover profiles, usernames, catalog artwork, titles, rankings, reviews, replies and reports.
Be respectful
- Discuss the work without harassment, threats, hate speech or encouraging harm.
- No pornography, non-consensual intimate imagery or sexual exploitation, including manipulated or AI-generated content. Sexual content involving minors is prohibited.
- Do not promote, facilitate or exploit human trafficking.
- Do not expose private information, impersonate people, post spam, scams or malicious links, or make deliberately false reports.
- Share only content you have the right to publish. Respect copyright and privacy.
Your content and account
You keep your rights in content you create and remain responsible for it. Publishing asks Plots to display it through its profile, ranking and discovery features, subject to your visibility choices. People may copy information you make public or share with them.
Keep your sign-in account secure. Do not bypass access controls, evade blocks or restrictions, scrape private information or interfere with the service. Profiles display initials; profile photo uploads and publishing sign-in photos are not supported.
Report, block or appeal
Use Report User, Report Review or Report Reply and include only relevant information. Reports are private to the reporter and the operator handling them. Block User hides that account in social views, removes both follow connections and prevents new follows between the accounts. Public information can still be visible to signed-out visitors. Manage blocks in Settings → Blocked Users.
Public text is checked for prohibited content. The operator may review reports, remove public content or restrict accounts. Automated checks can miss context. For a concern, content-rights request or appeal, email plots@alejandroattia.com with a username, title or report reference and your explanation.
Privacy and updates
The Privacy Policy explains storage, exports and deletion. Deletion cleanup includes reports and account-linked moderation records and may finish after the in-app operation; a minimal security marker prevents deleted data from being recreated.
Plots is operated by Alejandro Attia. We update the date on this page when these rules change. For help, visit Support.
